rules are important. without rules there wouldn't be any way to judge images.

I personally don't see any rules being broken.

art isn't "textbook"

nice shot.

The only thing I can think of are fingers being cropped but honestly all I'm looking at is her and that awesome smile! You can feel the love pouring out of this couple! Excellent shot!

I think the rule of thirds is actually being "obeyed".... but fingers chopped, posing a bride full front, and shooting up the nose are three that stand out to me.

Thanks for the compliments - and yes, they did love this one :)

You can get away with the bride facing front because she's thin... shooting up the nose, honestly I didn't notice because of the emotion... and fingers... crop right below the breasts... looks great and gets rid of the "phantom hand" problem.

Like it as it is... love it with the crop...

I'm always breaking rules... cutting off bodies, cutting off limbs, cutting off heads, center comps, sun flare, blowing out backgrounds... gotta get the image I want. You bossed it on this one!!!

The flare actually helps this pic. Not bad.
