Sunset with Bride and Groom - 02-28-2011, 12:57 PM

On Saturday, I had a wedding out at Missouri City, with two youngsters, Tara and Evan, and as the sun was setting, I snagged them for a quick shot on a fishing deck. It took some quick adjusting, but I managed to get this shot of them right as the sun dropped. (Post-production editing was done in CS4.)

Thoughts welcome.

Would clone the specular off his right cheek.

And no offense, but.......are you really short?

Erik,

With such a dramatic sunset taking place, why didn't you put the couple in a dramatic pose to match? I can understand taking a "looking at the camera" picture like this to start, to check your settings, see what adjustments needed to be made. But when that is done, why not have them go into some sort of dramatic pose that would add to the moment and possibly create a signature image for you? Opportunity lost. Nice colors in the sky but not much more for me.
