Love image 2!!! You did a great job varying the shots! I process more like image 15 maybe...kind of softer...image 13 is a little too purple for me, but getting that balance between too green or too purple is not so easy. lol

I think you got some GREAT moments, and what an awesome location! :)

Aww! A brunette and her redhead!
#15 is my favorite; you captured such a tender moment between them.

These are so pretty! 17 - I love how the angle of the pose works with the composition.

Thank you. #2 is my favorite as well. Now that you say it... 13 IS really purple, I didn't notice how purple I made his shirt look until now.

I have had a lot of requests for this location, too bad it is in Arkansas.

my favorites are 6,11 and 12. especially 6 (sunflare = love!!) personally I would prefer a more consistent color balance / editing across the board, there's a ton of variety that I find distracting (but that could just be me.) You're poses look great though, good job!

Thanks Brandy. I want to give my clients variety, but I'm still struggling trying to find the proper balance of variety & consistancy.

Does anyone have any tips on how to find that middle ground?

I *think* Brandy is talking of the variety/consistency in the color balance and editing.

Ex.. #13 and #14 have a very different color balance

Really good poses and shots (and AWESOME location), I like!

Great images! You really captured some personal, "natural" looking moments between them and that is worth a lot. Love the location too (too bad its in AR since it would be great for an engagement session I have coming up). Congrats.

Location is super!!! The posing is nice, composition is nice, photographic technique is solid. Brandy is right...consistency with processing would be a huge plus in this session. Number 4 jumps at me with the rich colors and great light. Lower the opacity on those actions (or whatever you are using for post-processing) or stick with the processing you have on #4. Are 4 and 13 the same image with different processing styles? Keep it up :)

Thanks for the tips. I looked back at the entire session and now #13 is really bugging me. I can really see where ya'll are coming from. I don't know what I was thinking on that one. I will definatly work on being more consistant. #4 & #13 were taken one right after another and I used my own actions that I tweak from photo to photo...obviously a little too much sometimes. :)

Amanda, you *might* want to record an action that includes your favorite actions you use (with opacity set) so you can run the action for that overall look to be consistent, then tweek a little individually or continue with the artistic edit. That's how I do it, to keep everything consistent. Eventually you get a feel for your style of processing. It just takes practice to figure out what you love.
