A couple of shots from a rehersal tonight... well last night I guess now that it is 2AM. I need some sleep! lol
Anyway, the church is super dark inside with the house lights all the way up. They have a row of stage lights all pointed to make a line of very bright light across the stage in one line, so when people are not standing right in the light, they are considerably darker, and then in the light, they are really bright! Nice!

Consider using your own light source if allowed. That way you have control, and your white balance will be more consistent.
