Her eyes scare me in a couple of those photos, but that's a great location! Overall I think these are awesome.

Lol, totally understand! That's the way her eyes were. They were pretty, but hard to make them look "normal".

Her eyes are pretty wicked. I love the red door pics. She seems the most at ease in those.

Yeah, she was more relaxed during the red door series, well, not really relaxed, but she was worried about the wind; so, her mind was on other things lol.

Wow! They are unusual. If they weren't your photos I would have thought over-processed. Instead I thought maybe they were funky contacts.

Lol, Keith! Yeah, I have a feeling they may have been contacts, but I think maybe there are too many colors in them to be contacts. I have no clue, but I def. didn't have to over process them!

These are a little different for you but I love your work. Almost makes me want to get married again. But my wife would give me fits if I did that. :)

Did I hear your shooting some wedding in London in 9 days?

Haha, well, just remarry your wife! I've shot vow renewals lol!

Yeah, they are a bit different for me, mainly because I had to over process her skin a bit more than normal due to shininess and a slight blemish problem (not much, just a little).

I wish! No London wedding for me, just Canada weddings.

Gorgeous!!!! (Like they'd be anything but gorgeous!) I love how they're so different from the bridals you've done there in the past. Your ability to think outside the box and find new ways to shoot, no matter how many times you're using the same facility, windows, resources... just blows me away.

Crazy. I'm glad that someone brought it up and you shared that because I thought it was post-processing too.

Great shots.

BTW, what is NYLO?

Haha, thanks, Maria! Yeah, I try to come up with something different every time I shoot at the same locations. This time, it was a stretch since the hotel is not that big, and I've shot there a number of times. I actually ended up shooting in the sauna/shower area for something a little different. It even had orange lockers, which we used, too!

Thanks, Brad! NYLO is a hotel in Plano. There is one in Las Colinas, too.

The red door shots are the best. The other settings would be to avante garde for a traditional bride by my standards although the two mirror shots had an air of mystery about them. The make-up was heavy and harsh, but on a recent episode of My Fair Wedding, David Tutera commented that heavy make-up on a wedding day should be acceptable on the wedding day because this is the day she wants to be a princess. Let's see if that holds true for Kate Middleton.

Lol, Alton! Yeah, they tend to go heavy on bridals and wedding makeup. Luckily, most of my brides are far from traditional, so I'm good there. In fact, I thought maybe these were too traditional for my usual taste lol. Thanks for the comment!

Clearly I need more caffeine because I didn't pay enough attention to her eyes. It was more her emotions that were getting to me. She looks really tense in a lot. But some people look tense without meaning to. They're still beautiful images though.
