Rebecca Arboretum Bridal - 04-23-2011, 01:12 PM

Critique: NC:

Most of these were shot between 1:30pm and 3:30pm at the Arboretum. It was really bright, hot, windy and super crowded. The others were shot at NYLO. You can see more at: Leslie Spurlock Photography | Facebook

Leslie you are an awesome Photogragher!! Love the softness of the first one. You have a wonderful perspective in finding locations for your bridals, I love the fact, that they are always different.

Lol, Ken! Yeah, she's gorgeous!

Wow, thank you, Mark!! I try to find something different at the same old locations that everyone shoots at. Gotta put my own twist on things!

I love the one in the egg shaped chair! I'm curious, do you have to pay a fee to shoot at the NYLO? (I actually always thought those were apartments since they were advertised as New York style lofts.)

Over all very nice, my only concern is the lack to detail in the whites on some.

Thanks, everyone! Yes, you do have to pay for NYLO. It's $150 for 2 hrs to shoot downstairs (they went up, used to be $100).

Ernst, actually, I could have brought detail into all of them, but some of them I left that way on purpose. I do understand what you are saying, though.

I noticed that too, but I thought it's good when you go with your guts. I think it works well. Rules are meant to be broken. Nice work!

Thanks, Andre! Yeah, I don't worry about rules, lol, although for most of my shots, I do bring in the highlights.
