I particularly like the Mark Rothko-esque dress shot.

Thank you, Jeff! I really appreciate that! I was shooting solo on this one. Haven't done that in a LONG time! That's a lot of work! I did have a tag along, but that was for her sake, not mine. I almost forgot to get a shot of the rings b/c my second shooter usually does that.

Oh, these are great! I love the color in the getting ready shots, the emotion in the ceremony - how did you catch everyone crying?? And shot with the bride and her bridesmaids in the field is lovely. Great work!

Great shots and a nice looking couple.
I do have a quick question for you and please don't take it as negative, since I'm really interested in your thought process.
I think it was around the 9th picture from the end where you are coming in over the grooms left shoulder to get the brides face. She has a great smile but is doing what I call a chin tuck, giving her a slight double chin. Is this something you would attempt to minimize in your post processing or just let the photo stand as is?
Again since I'm really new here, let me repeat I'm not being critical. I'm honestly wondering how you or others would handle that photo and/or situation.
all the best. | | | |

Thanks, Gary!
No worries at all for asking the question about number 9. Actually, I wouldn't end up fixing her chin in that one. It was a natural moment, and since it was a wedding, I just go with it. Now, if I was shooting a bridal and she did that, I would either leave it out, or try to fix it, but I'm not good at fixing stuff like that. The only things I really fix are blemishes and back fat if it's obvious and easy to fix (the back fat is when the bride is usually sideways to me, and her dress is cutting in a bit, even the thinnest girls get that if you aren't careful).
Thanks a ton, Dale! No, this was at Myers Park in McKinney.
