Critique: CC:

So... I always say I do NOT shoot weddings... but exceptions must be made, eh? I shot my sister-in-law's (amy) wedding this past 4th of July weekend. They got married at the stockyards.. very informal, just a handful of people.

I hadn't really picked up my camera in probably 2+ months before this, so critique away! I felt so rusty. Here are a handful of shots:

The whole album is here - Amy & Rusty - a set on Flickr Please feel free to critique any of the photos in the album that I didn't post. I didn't want to make this a mile long!

Very nice shots. I think you captured the emotion and feel of their wedding very well.

A few of them could have used a fill flash.

Michael - I agree. I hadn't exactly planned on shooting the wedding though, so all I had with me was my body, the 50mm and 2 CF cards! I tried to correct the lighting some in LR, but there's only so much you can do in post.

A few of them look a bit noisy to me for outdoor images.

processing is varied so much - especially the two side by side when she kissed him on the cheek and then it looks like they are praying....the one on the right is exposed so differently or maybe it is post.
