A few from a recent second-shoot - 08-21-2011, 03:21 PM

Critique: NC:

A few from another wedding as a second shooter. I had to assist with lighting a lot for this one, so I wasn't able to shoot that much, which kinda sucked. Oh well, it was fun nonetheless! The bride and groom were really relaxed and laid back, which always makes everything go so much smoother.

This live band was awesome. This guy sang Sinatra and sounded JUST like him. I tried to give the image a "rat pack" feel to go with the music style and his overall look.

Just liked this one for some reason. Had a sort of "still life" feel to me.

Missed the focus on the father of the bride on this one (focused on the back of the bride's head) but I like the moment nonetheless.

Tilted shots leave me wanting to straighten them. I know that Bambi Cantrell uses them. Tilting is not guaranteed to improve or save a shot that is boring or lacking in composition. and should be saved to reinforce a dramatic image or tell a story. (My thoughts.)

In your first couples dance shot, the tilt is okay. In the others, they are simply routine wedding event shots and not enhanced by the tilt.

Otherwise, the images are nicely done.
