Las Vegas E-Session - 09-08-2011, 04:06 PM

Critique: NC:

I haven't posted anything here in AGES, and I'm sitting here hanging out, so I figured why not? These were taken in Las Vegas. We are shooting their wedding at the Mirage in Nov, so that's why it is the dominate theme. I tried to make it obvious we were in Vegas without looking too cheesy like a tourist.

I usually use off camera lighting but without an assistant and all the crowds, I chose to use natural light with flash-fill.

LOL, so people actually READ it? I always wondered! Thanks, it was a lot of fun. I can't WAIT for the wedding. We fly in on Thur, they get married friday, and then we chill sat and do their day after session on Sunday at the Neon Graveyard (I'm beside myself that I get to shoot there!) and fly back monday! This bride is awesome :)

I've wanted to shoot there for years, since I very first started. When I booked this wedding I told the bride we HAD to go there.

These are awesome, and I love some of the expressions in the crowd shots. The neon cemetery sounds awesome for a shoot. Hell, I want to go there, although it would be without people in the shots :)

Yea, the looks on people were funny.

I'm gonna have to get some "test shots" or something without the couple in there too. LOL I want to print once big :)

Great set! The crowd shot is fun. And I had to Google Neon Graveyard since everyone mentioned it. What a cool place! Your off camera lighting is going to come in handy there...
