Critique: NC:

I shot a wedding in Fort Worth a couple weeks ago and the B&G were super fun and offbeat. So I thought I would submit their wedding to be published and it was! So I am pretty excited. You can see it here:

Retro Whimsical Red Texas Elopement | The Lovely Find

The one odd thing is that the publication called the wedding an elopement The B&G were from out of town but it certainly wasn't an elopement. I had provided contact info for the B&G, so I thought maybe they got that bit of information from them. I checked with the groom and nope! The groom had not talked to the publication. Luckily, they were cool with it and it didn't bother them at all. So it all worked out very well. Still, that could have ended badly had the couple taken issue with it being called an elopement.

Has anyone else ever had a similar issue? If so, I would love to know how you handled it.

Congratulations! I don't see them mentioning it being an elopement anywhere, just a wedding. Maybe they corrected it?

Thanks Charrie! You're right, they have removed the references to the elopement. That is so odd. Maybe the writer had confused it with another wedding? At any rate, I was happy that they published it. I was just scratching my head over that one a bit.
