So I really don't shoot weddings or anything related to them, but thought I would try with this shot. My sister and her boyfriend are getting married this year and I had asked them if I could take a few pictures of their rings to practice product photography again. They are now going to use this image for their save the date postcard they’re sending out ;) guess I should do more wedding related shoots!

While I do believe in weddings being more feminine over masculine I would have used a tad more DOF to bring out the other ring a bit and there is a lil grain on the inside of both rings that can easily be taken out in post processing. Overall I like the idea, just something personal that I see. I shoot Macro alot and deal with the pain of close up DOF. Dont stop with the idea of wedding related shots, you are on the right track. : ) Oddly enough shooting wedding rings is a lot like shooting bugs.LOL
