Need an assistant?

Hey guys, I just wanted to put this out there. I'm shooting my first wedding solo at the end of the summer and I'm looking to get as much experience as possible before then. If anyone has a wedding coming up that they need an assitant for, I would love to shadow you or help out in any way. Preferably Austin/Houston/Waco/College Station, but I'm not choosy.

Stacy we have one outside of College Staion in May, already have a second/third shooter but it should be a good time, by your house and of course Aggies. I know after the wedding we are all piling up and heading to NorthGate for some fun pics. It is Cody's B-Day also so he will be pretty much useless by the time the wedding is over, hince the reason I have another shooter coming with me, but hey it is in your backyard feel free to come and help out if you want too. Not sure how big the wedding is going to be but the couple is Fun Fun Fun so it will be one hell of a party.

Not to hijeck this thread. I have wedding to shoot on July-3rd.

Bride's house is around I10 east of houston (near where Budwiser factory)
If someone near by that area and want to help out pm me.
It will be in morning for about 30 to 45 minutes.
I know it it too early but just throwing it out.

I'm bumping my own thread, I'm so ashamed of myself.. But I am desperately looking for some weddings to assist on.. I have three booked at the end of the summer and I've never even shot a wedding, so I crucially need the experience. Plus I'd like just a handful of shots to add to the portfolio, if possible. I'm cheap (free, even!) and fun :) Heck, I don't even have to shoot, if I could just follow you around with a flash or carrying your gear or something helpful and watch what you do, I would be extremely greatly appreciative.

Whatever ones you feel like you can't attend, or if you get double-booked to go watch.....let me know. I am not doing any weddings right now, but I would love to see what they're like. Everyone always looks like they are having sooooo much fun. (the photographers I mean)

I have one next weekend 22nd) in San Antonio...the ceremony is at one of the missions and the reception is downtown. Also I have 3 in May (1 in SA, 1 in Boerne, 1 in Comfort). Your welcome to be a 2nd shooter if you would like, but not sure if SA is out of your traveling range. Let me know if you are interested.
BTW, I would highly recommend tagging with Mikey if you can....he is great to work with.
