We say 4-6 weeks for proofs. You will ask 100 different weding photographers and get almost 100 different answers.

Our belief is you do not rush something and make it perfect! Give yourself time to display your images correct not just as snapshots. These images you will be giving the client is the final say in what you and your talents will be displayed as and what the client will remember you by. Take your time and make it right!

Thanks, I think I should be able to do them in that time. I was scared it would be a couple weeks only. But I feel much better now.

I'll second Mike's 4-6 weeks. We usually have them online in 4, printed by 5-6. (give extra just in case they come back from printer messed up or anything)

Nathan I said 2 weeks when I shot film...but now that I'm in "the darkroom" with digital...yikes. lol

But mainly because I have a full time job, 2 small children and for some strange reason I am a bit fond of sleep.... :)

I enjoy creating art for my clients so it takes time. I always try and get some images out to them ASAP within a week or so to hold them over, but honesting to created and color correct it takes time to do it so give yourself time. Both you and the client will LOVE it when the final product is done.

The main thing is to tell the B&G beforehand what your time frame is. If the job is done, call them and tell them now, if you haven't done so. Don't wait for their call. Remember the great line, "Under promise and over deliver." You do not want them wondering what happened to the pics. If you tell them 4-6 weeks, many people will be waiting for the phone call on the 28th day.

When you decide upon the time, factor in in college, business stuff, and personal stuff, but the details are really not the B&G's problem. If the end of the semester is a killer for you, don't take any jobs that would conflict with your schedule.

Hope you did a beautiful job for them.

Bill
