We did an engagement shoot this weekend at a park in Grapevine and this doesn't look like typical DFW scenery does it? As always, feedback appreciated.

Me, too.. I have at least one shoot coming up that would be good to do out Grapevine way.

Carlo - you always do such a good job. These DEFINITELY do not look like Dallas area at all. It's the water and the trees and the overall feel. Very well done.

Hey Pete- That does look similar.

The park is called Rockledge Park and is near the airport. It's actually right across the lake from the Gaylord Texan. It's not just going to be a great engagement shot location but I plan on spending some R&R time there as well. I think it would be a great picnic spot and a place to take DFW area visitors!

They have a hiking trail that I'd like to tackle WITHOUT carrying almost 40 lbs of photo equipment on me. Climbing up and down those rocks were not fun with a big backpack!

MyKey and ElsasPet - I'll update the post in a few days when I have postprocessed the shots. Those are all pretty much proofs and I just did a quick b/w conversion on the center picture.
