Thanks everyone :) They were alot of fun. :) That was one of my favorites too. I was afraid I may have overcooked that image a bit, and may do another version of it. The couple had a 'pre wedding' reception party in Atlanta, where the bride's from, and for that, they had a photographer do more traditonal stuff. So they want me to get wild and crazy :) I am sooooo up for that,,LOL. I am really looking forward to the wedding on Wednsday. I think it helps the nerves to do a fun shoot with the couple before the wedding.

Holly, did you ever end up guessing what I was talking about in pm's the other week? LOL

Nic, most of the photographers around where I live do the same tired style, all traditional, with a bit of PJ, but almost all very stoic and 'grip and grins' shots. I am trying to stand out from the crowd a bit with some funky cross processing shots :) The couple loved them, but they are a bit funky and this seemed perfect for them.

The wedding was yesterday, and I have alot of images to get thru. Will post some favs when I am able.

Thanks again for the comments, I lose objectivity when I am working on an image, so after a while I feel I need objective eyes to tell me what isn't working, lol.

I have just started doing engagement sessions, this was the first, and I had so much fun. Am doing one in London on Monday, so hopefully it will be as fun. This couple booked me based on these engagement shots, so I am guessing they want something unusual. Both are barristers, (lawyers to you and I ;) ), and so I am thinking to get them to wear their 'wigs',,LOL

LMAO! I could tell you, but it's alot more fun leaving you in suspense,,lol.

Oh, and I have decided no more running around London, chasing the bride and groom (along with 20 of their wedding party!). I am so exhausted today, and sore from schlepping 15 pounds of gear at the same time. Couldn't use my rolly bag, cos I couldn't have pulled it along, and been shooting at the same time. Hubby was still laughing hysterically last night, reliving the day, LOL. It wiill explain better when I show you the images, lol.

As an update about the ring issue, I asked, and it turns out they made a personal choice to each wear a 'commitment ring' on their right hands, until their wedding day, her's just happened to be a diamond ring, so no regional tradition at all. :) They now have on proper wedding bands on their left hands ;) Will get some of those images up soon, am a bit overloaded at the moment. (argh)
