Wyatt,
I absolutly love #1, the only tid bit and I mean tid bit which you could do absolutly nothing about is the branches coming out of the guys head and I had to look REALLY hard to see those.

Dont ya just love it when you have such great lovely people wanting to shoot and Mother Nature decides to step in.

Great photos.. for engagement photos, I'd love to see some more interaction with each other rather than looking your way, but for a couple portrait, these are great.

Whaddya mean do nothing about those branches. I got PS with a clone tool

Really like the pictures. #2 is awesome.

#1 looks a little soft, but still looks great though.

Well, #1 is a little soft, on purpose. But just a little. The small web size didn't help.

I think #1 looks great but the blurred background looks really fake. Perhaps you can use a gradient of some sort to make the blur progressive.

Great shots for your first time out!
