Brides at the Arboretum today...

No, I didn't take photos of brides today (Sunday, 4/09) but there were lots of brides at the Arboretum this afternoon getting their pictures done by photogs... lots of SUN and LOTS of visitors to the park. All that to say this... you folks that do weddings and bridals have got to be commended for not carrying firearms or at least a long stick to swat the gawkers away from the area while you're trying to get your shots.
Saw several people get all set up with their finger on the shutter and the bride just smiling away when some goober(s) took that exact moment to either walk in front of the camera or stand directly in back of the bride... or in FRONT of the bride for that matter. It made ME mad and I wasn't even involved other than being an onlooker while waiting for the path to clear so we could be on our way... Geeze, humanity showed its ugly rude side again. While I'm sure that most of you have encountered the problem at times and still finished the business at hand, I would have killed someone by now or at least be on the nuthouse list.
There should probably be a Patience Award handed out to each and every one of who does this type of work... I gained a whole new admiration for photographers who do bridals today.

yup, there are tons of bridal all the time at Dallas Arboretum or FW Garden.. and it is getting harder and harder to do it because of the heat...I didn't there once last year and it was so hot that I was ready to jump in the fountain :)
