Thought I would give the wedding a little color since I and the clients love it!

Enjoy!

And yes I know they are different but hey thats what TriCoast is ALL about.......If we could not be different and find unique angles and locations we would not be doing this work!

Thanks for looking...

Great shots Mike...2, 3, 4 and 7 caught my eye. As for the angles, I like them, especially on 3 and 7. Thanks for sharing.

#3 is a great shot. Love that birds eye view angle with a little motion blur.

Mike, can you give us some specifics on #1 and #3. Also, did you use a warming gel on the flash on #4, or how did you get the background to be so blue?
Thanks!

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

#1 was shot very similar to #4 actually, slow shutter to capture the natural light and small amout of fill flash to lighten up some of the shadows. No gel as used on the flash, in fact we never use colored gels over our flashes.

#3 is again slow shutter and using the "pan" technique much like NASCAR vehicle photos are taken. You move (pan) the camera at the same speed as the moving subjects with very slow shutter speeds so everything moving looks still and everything still looks blurry.

Thanks for the questions.

Mykey, how do you get that deep blue in the limo shot?

As stated above, it was taken with a LONG shutter to draw in the outside lighting (this was after dark for the most part) and then a flash to expose the subject correctly. Same techinque as dragging the shutter.

The blue is just the sky at nighttime, honestly there was not that much blue in the sky to the naked eye but the sensor does not filter out light as well as the human eye so it shows up more on the camera image.

How long of a shutter speed are you setting?

On picture #4, the shutter speed was 1/40 s.

Very accomplished and creative. An excellent color sense and you know how to capture it. I really like the wide-angle use, too.
