Need Advise here Please Concerning Book Offereings. - 07-08-2006, 11:53 PM

Ok I have a few pending weddings coming up and would like to know the best routes to take as far as offering of Books.

Asuka Books?

Zookbinders?

Tyndall Photographic?

I have information from the last 2 in this set but only thing I can see about Asuka is online.

I love the Look of the Zook Binders, as well as some of the books that Tyndall offers, but not too high on what I have seen from Asuka as of yet.

Any of you photographers out there that do this on a consistent basis please chime in with any links to other Book/Album companies I caould take a look at to offer different stuff to my clients would be greatly appreciated.

I know the 2 weddings I have coming up both want some kind of Book/Album and I have showed the clients what I can provide as far as the Zookbinders and from Tyndall but have never used any of their products so any advice there would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks for any and all help.

The first wedding is coming upon me really fast (September) so if you have any quick and fast suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Stephen Gibson

I think it all depends on the Clients Taste here. I mean zookbinders have that more traditional classic look to it where as Asuka Books has a newer more eclectic flair to it.
I found a link to asuka Books For you: http://asukabook.com/index.html
That should help you make a better informed Decision based apon the client and their personality.
Here is the link to zookbinders: http://www.zookbinders.com/
I cant find a link for Tyndall Photographic.
I honestly think it will ALL depend on the Personailty of the couple.

i don't know how much time you have on your hands or how into the design aspect you are-- but if you are like me and you enjoy easy-to-use templates, you might want to look into Renaissance's SoHo Styler software. You can go to thebookalbum.com to get a feel for what htey offer.

i might also add that with the sohostyler software, you upload to Renaissance, and they print/mount/bind the book and send it to you as a finished product.

they do send you a smaller sample of each page layout before printing, to be sure that hte colors are to your liking.

I love my Zookbook that I ordered for my sample, but they're pricy. I'm offering both Zookbooks & Azukas as two different options with the Azuke being my "budget" option. I'm working on my Azuka sample now, but I've seen a few before and really liked them for a coffee table book type album.

I use You Select It software to design both albums - expensive, but worth every penny. Then for my Zookbook, I ordered my prints from my usual lab, Millers. Azuka, you upload your files directly to them.
