OK people I am curious, the wedding images are getting much stronger in the last few months on this forum, which I am VERY HAPPY to see. So it got me thinking (I know its hard to believe) what is you single favorite wedding image you have taken! While I have so many portraits I love and enjoy I think the one below for so many unspoken reasons has been my favorite for this year at least.
So show us your one favorite image, YES ONE image, I know it will be hard to pick just one but come on make the choice and post it and tell a little why you love it so much. Be that it was a fun wedding or a great bride or just something you captured which surprised you, post it and tell us! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + EDIT
Since this thread has gone over so well, much better than I ever thought it would and yes that makes me smile!!! How about we change the rules of the thread a little bit.
In a take off of the Self-Portrait thread which has truely taken on a life of its own in the People section of the forum. Post one (1) image from each wedding event which is your favorite. Meaning one and only one image from the entire collection of images you capture from one client. The best of the best, the cream of the crop, the one shot which you feel is simply your favorite. Post it and of course tell us why it is your favorite.
NO MORE - NO LESS
So make it a good one, no make it a great one, one to make our jaw drop open, our eyes open up and our mind to wonder on the one image you post.
So start posting away your best wedding, engagement, bridal or anything do to with the wedding world. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Great idea MyKey....When I first joined this forum, I was so "jealous" of the work I was seeing. "Man, I wish I could shoot like that", was what I was telling myself daily. After looking, listening, and continually learning, I have started taking chances and pushing myself to try new things. Some of those things may seem minor by comparison, but they are huge leaps for me. My Bridals were always dull and "boring", no matter how beautiful the bride. This image is my first trip "outside of the box":

From my most favorite wedding ever ( ):
(okay, my only wedding... ) Anyways, the boy had just finished muttering about that *$&@ photographer who was shooting everything... so I had to take his picture too.
It's one of the candids that actually turned out okay.

EDIT: Noticed that this is supposed to be a favorite "wedding" shot which to me says more of a shot from the actual day. I changed out the original photo with something more relevant.
Same bride but on her wedding night:

That Leslie took while we've been working together? That would be easy... that I took? I'm thinking this one from last weekend. I don't think I could have gotten better timing on it if I'd set it up.
However, I will also share this one my wife did last weekend with a Point and Shoot since she's not on the forum..

Isn't hard to post just one! I mean think about it, on the surface it does not seem hard but when you try and figure it out, it becomes one of the hardest things to do, at least it was for me.
Thanks for posting everyone, lets keep it going! I love hearing why its important or your favorite, art touches us in different ways and what one might see is not what we feel or see in the same portrait.

Again lets keep it going!

It's hard to pick one...but this is still my favorite (for now):
EDITED: Forgot about the 'why' portion - This is just one of those photos that I saw the shot and took it and it actually ended up exactly how I was picturing it in my head prior to the shot. This wedding was one where I made a big leap in understanding what my 'style' really was. It's still evolving as I continue experimenting but nothing like the shot where you just got chills knowing you got a great one as soon as you hit the shutter!

Donnie, that first one is a scream... love the way she's leaning out farther.
