I dunno- that's good for you, for sure- but also saying "the photography is more important than the marriage", which isn't a good sign for a marriage.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

No, it just says photography is an important part of the wedding ceremony; it doesn't say anything at all about the marriage itself.

I don't read it that way at all. I'd say she has a clear idea of what she wants the wedding day to be, and wants it to be `perfect'. Would you not shift your date if a venue you wanted wasn't available on your first choice of day? This is the same thing, really.

Milano is about a third of the way from B/CS to Austin (on the B/CS side). 79 and 36 (ish)...

Hate to break it to you, but I moved my wedding date to get the photographer I wanted. That was 15 years ago, and I'm still very happily married. We had dated for 7 years. Moving the date back one week wasn't going to affect the marriage in any shape, form, or fashion. I find that statement laughable.

Kasey, that is quite a compliment! Kudos on a job to be well done!

Congrats!

I agree with Simon and Wendy. If anything, it's a sign of good planning and of knowing what she wants. So really, you could say it means they're MORE likely to stay together. if she knows what she wants in a photog then she probably knows what she wants in a husband. Ok, I'm just joking, but I don't think it means anything.
