Yesterdays Very Cold Engagement Session

I was very tired, it was very cold. I shot a wedding 8am-8pm the night before. A spider or something bit my calf so was having throbbing pain from that. Then yesterday morning before my shoot I was carrying my 4 yr old son down the stairs and I slipped ended up on my back sliding down the stairs with him on top of me. Hurt his toes, pulled the muscles in my right arm, twisted my left knee (same leg as the spider bite), and hurt my back.

But had a good session, even thought it was so super cold outside for me.

Any honest comments and critiques are welcome!

I have more, just haven't gotten a chance to work on them (yeah so what am I doing playing on here with you guys)

eh, what's a trip down the stairs and a little nibble from charlotte compared to the rest of the year.

My husband is always telling me can't make friends if I dont leave the house, so I am totally up for that. It'll be fun!

Glad you braved the coldness... I haven't shot out there in awhile. I did shoot there when it was like 105...and it was not fun that day. Of course, over at arboretum wasn't any more fun either...Heat kills me.. LOL

Andrew I am total opposite. the cold kills me. I walk around with a sweater in the summer, because I get cold from the AC running to keep everyone else cool.

I was more worried abour freezing than any of my various pains. This was my 3rd engagements out there, the grooms to be seem to like it better than the arboretum (to girlie with all the flowers is what I've been told).

It was very windy and cooler off the water too. They were so great, took their coats off and everything, I finally told them put your coats on we'll do a couple with those, I said your coats match, they're cute, they'll work just as well. no reason to freeze!

I'll be doing her bridals probably early april, wedding is in may.

Leslie -- my calendar is totally open for Jan. I look forward to a good start to a new year.

how are you feeling? are you still sore and in pain? that was a very painful story.
i really like what you did with using the structure and the environment. good job. you can't tell how cold it is.

I'm feeling better, was sore the most yesterday. Today my knee just hurts, but after 2 car accidents when I was younger and it got hurt it'll hurt until the weather warms back up. My shoulder was the most sore yesterday, I went to bed with the heating pad, still a little sore this morning.

I was worried that after a while of the cold wind blowing on them that they would start to have that red, cold wind face look. But we were out there just about an hour and they never did...me on the other hand....LOL, so thankfully no one was taking my picture.
