If my assistant isn't going, I believe I have a couple of free passes... I have one form my Lab, and then when I registered for hte conference I got a free pass as well.

I won't be getting there until Sunday night, probably.

There is a thread about this started by Gordon going on in the San Antonio Threads and Fran posted a link for free Expo tickets for those of you that don't have tickets to the Expo. I'm up for drinks either Sunday or Monday evening.

this is my first time going, so i was wondering if it's necessary to take my camera to any of the classes.

No you wont need it most likely Dianna, but as camera nerds there are always peeps with them.

Hi Dianna,
It'll depend on the class. For example an email from the instructor of the pre-convention classes, "Secrets to Success..." says:
You do not need to bring a lot of gear...just a simple camera if you want to shoot poses and lighting set ups. Bring a hand-held meter if you have one.
As I understand, most of the short (1.5 - 4hour) classes will be more note taking and observation rather than participation.

ok, thanks mike and steve. i kind of figured i wouldn't need it for the most part, unless a specific class says to bring it. i'll have to check my list again to see which classes i might need it for.
