Likey. More on the second one, because I can see it better. In the first one, too me, it looks like it blends in with the grain of the wood and the screen.

I love them! Excellent job on both the texture and the edges.

I like both of them, I've been playing with this myself recently, would you mind sharing your workflow? The part I'm currently lacking is the texture...

I'm with Suk Yee; I loveeee the images...particularly the second one. The more someone can make a bridal look like an editorial spread, the more I'm going to love it. Well done!

I really like the first one, the picture looks more like it was taken back in the day, the second one the facial expression looks so modern that it seems to clash with the effect.

i like it on #1 but not #2.

it works with the feel of 1... but it just makes #2 look like it got dirty.

I dig the textures on both! My monitor may be outta whack, but the only thing I would have to say is that on #2, the catchlight in her eyes kind of looks strange if you know what I mean... but on my monitor she almost looks like Linda Blair (not that that's bad)? I would probably tone down the dodging in the bottom part of the catchlights JUST a hair... AGAIN.. it could just be me! If anything, it's probably because of her smile + eyebrow shape + the catchlights that makes her look Linda Blairish. Anyway, nice work playing with textures! I love using them, but I don't take a lot of photographs that would look good with them :)

Heh...workflow...I think I could only call it that if I repeated the same technique each time.

I simply overlay a texture as a new layer and then erase what I don't want to cover certain areas of the image. Change your opacity to 30% and work from there.

I know what you mean, I rarely follow the same process twice! I just cant get my borders to look that nice, yours ACTUALLY look authentic, mine just look...jagged. Oh, your pictures have changed btw!
