OK, I'll be brave again and post some. Noticed not too many new threads started lately, so I'll share some of my favorites. They are not perfect, but the bride to be is "obsessed" with them. That's what she said. So I'm happy, because they are happy. She is buying more than half of the digital files. So, yes... I am pretty happy. Hope you like. Constructive criticism welcome. The high contrast is on purpose. It was raining that morning and we had a blast. The bride has expressed how pleased she is that I will be her photographer for the wedding. I am very excited about this couple.

You may also noticed that he is wearing his wedding band. In Romanian culture they put their rings on the right hand when engaged and left when married. So he is wearing his wedding band on the right hand until their wedding day.

Eunice and Peter.

I love #'s 6 & 12! I'm not an expert or anything so I can't give a whole lot of advice but I really like these two because they are fun shots that don't look forced and you've pictured the love these two share. Well done! ;)

I like the first one on the tracks and them on the bench. IMO I think there's not enough bling on the ring, a girl needs 1 ct. min. on the solitaire that's what I've convinced digital daddy anyway.

Thanks for the comments. You are right, it's on his left hand. That's because they got it wrong. Not sure why they did that. My husband and I had our wedding bands on the right hand before we got married and then switched when we did. Maybe it's just for show. I don't know. People are not exactly following traditions that much these days. Anyway, what I explained is actually how it works in the Romania culture. Unless I got it wrong... Oh, well... As long as they are happy I don't sweat the small details.

BTW, I did not get an engagement ring when we got engaged. It was not important to me. I grew up not caring much for jewelry. I still don't. Cost too much and if felt horrible when I accidentally lost my ring that my hubby got for me years after we got married. Told him never to buy me jewelry again. So I don't have to worry about loosing it or paying for replacing a stone. Another worry I don't need. I would rather he get me a lens instead of a ring or necklace. he he

cute couple! Nice shots, Olga.

At a first glance, the only critique I have is I'd prefer to not see the bottoms of their shoes. If she sat "mermaid" style so her feet were to the side, and he put one foot flatter on the floor/ground, I'd like that image much better.

GREAT job!

Nice compositions and angles. Be careful with the feet/hands being cropped off.

I'm not keen on the textures - but that's just my style/preference. I think sometimes they take away from the image rather than enhance it.

I like the composition & bokeh of #9. Only if she kept her fingers together, it'd make a perfect picture

Thanks for the additional comment guys. Jesus, they like both of the pictures with the textures. She actually bought the original image files with those. And the more I shoot the more I see that more modern couples tend to not care about body parts cut off. On some I watch for it, on some I just take the shot and let them decide if they want it or not, with cut off body parts or not. Up to them. I appreciate your comments.

Thanks Viet. She ordered the original file for that one too. Not sure how the fingers would look like together. I'm always afraid for the hands not to look too tense. She just naturally held it up for me. Will try to have her hold her fingers a bit tighter next time. Thanks for the tip. We aim for the best but perfection is even better. :-)

Thanks Kat for the comment. I pretty much playes with some textures. I have an action I downloaded that creates textures. One of them is a craquelique textures. I combined it with a picture I took of a wall with some different paintings on it. I layered all those in Photoshop and played with the opacity levels until I achived that look. I also used the maks to paint over the parts of the photo I did not want to cover with the texture.

They ordered that one as a 5x7 print. The girl loved it.

Thanks again for the comment. I appreciate it.
