Bridal Session around Market Street (The Woodlands) - 11-22-2007, 02:52 PM

With the upcoming urban TTD coming up in Dec, felt the need to get out there for some always needed additional practice... Was suppose to be a TTD but it ended being a regular session. Location was around Market Street and Six Pines Dr. overpass in The Woodlands.

My low-light/night photography, among many other things, needs a lot of work but CC good or bad welcome...

Love 'em - 11-23-2007, 10:28 AM

Paulo,
I love many of them but my favorite is #4 where she is walking away under the lights. It feels like she left the reception early after she got mad. Very nice.

Isn't Market Square a treasure chest for backgrounds?
I'm surprised Houston wedding photographers don't use it more.

A friend of mine took some pictures outside the movie theatre
and super imposed their wedding names and date on the overhead marque. Turned out beautiful.

I always have to comment when someone does a great job on one of my weaknesses. Great location and lighting!
did you have any traffic problems??

It's a great location, Angelo. It offers so many varied backgrounds. I love it.

Thank you Nathan. I've scouted the area a number of times and traffic is usually not an issue. Especially when compared to the Hermann Park area. Ironically though, the day this shoot was scheduled, it fell on the same day of a large lighting festival AND "Good Morning Houston" was filming there. We still found parking but that's by far the busiest I've ever seen the place be.

the woodlands can be a fun place to shoot and you found lots of good spots.
i'm not sure about the second one because I first look at the trees in the distance, then the light above her, then maybe perhaps thebride. there are too many elements competing for attention.
