Wednesday E-Session (many images)

After having to reschedule many times last week due to the weather I finally got the pleasure of shooting with this sweet couple! When I arrive the groom-to-be pulls me aside and says 'I dont smile'. That is why he is not smiling in so many pictures =(. I caught him in a smile a few times though =)

Love the closeup of them in color. They both have beautiful eyes.

I hope he just doesn't smile for photos. If he doesn't smile much or at all in his daily life, it will be a long marriage for her (or a very short one).

Do you have any tricks to coax a smile out of a difficult subject? So far, I've had pretty good luck.

Todd: Yes, I have a few tricks that USUALLY work like a charm lol. This guy was a pretty tough case though. I got about 20 decent images of him smiling. The thing is ... he has a GREAT smile! I wish I could have seen it more =)

This only works if SHE was game ... but you could (without him expecting it) have her nibble on one of his ears ... or have HER tell him a really dirty joke ... whisper something funny in his ear ... etc. etc. Maybe he was ticklish!

Doesn't seem to work as well when I tell a dirty joke. Don't know that many dirty ones, I guess.

really like #7,8,and 9. dont care too much for the texture on 7,and 8,but overall very nice images. Good job.

As for the texture... I have just been playing around lately... I definitely gave the clients a version w/o the texture as it is not for everyone =)

I've seen photogs pull out stuffed animals for adults. It's such a ridiculous thing to see, they usually can't help but laugh. That or
