Conroe Parks & Rec Photo Class - 06-29-2009, 05:03 PM

I was supposed to teach a basic photography class in Conroe for the fourth time, but as of right this second there are only 2 people registered and there is a five person minimum for the class. It was supposed to begin June 30th, but they are going to hold it off for a couple of days to see if anyone else wants to sign up. So if you are interested contact (936) 522-3900 June 30th or July 1st.

Price:
Conroe Resident: $60.00
Non-resident: $75.00

Meeting dates:
Tuesday and Thursday from Thursday, July 1 to Thursday, July 23. (Not July 21)

Time:
6:30 to 7:45pm

THE CLASS WRITE UP:
If your interest in photography has moved beyond the point-and-shoot level, it's time to think about taking a class. Learn how to capture better photographs of the things you like from a professional photographer. Learn why your camera does what it does, what makes a good image, and other tips and tricks that you want to know in a small hands on class. Apply what you learn in the field to take better photographs of your family or even the landscape. Students must bring their own equipment. Digital cameras are recommended. There will be lecture, field trips, and image critiques.

Instructor:
Melanie Hall is a certified professional photographer with a bachelor's Degree in photography. She has owned her own business, Melonhead Photo, since 2004 and has worked for daily and weekly newspapers in Montgomery County. She has won many different awards and is active in the Texas Professional Photographers Association.
