Thanks for bringing this post back to life.

There are now more Nikon (and Canon) DSLR shooters now than when the post was first posted.

It will be interesting to see how many others you get interested - I'm always interested. Nikon D90 with SB600 and SB800 plus umbrellas, etc.

You might also want to check out The Woodlands Camera Club (the "other club" in The Woodlands). See www.thewoodlandscameraclub.org. Our monthly meeting is the first Monday of each month - but we also have a DSLR SIG (Special Interest Group) that meets the fourth Sunday afternoon each month. We often break up into Nikon, Canon, and "other" DSLR groups to practice and learn our equipment. Hope you can join us.
