Nikon Shooters

Any NIKON shooters interested in getting together to do some learning and practicing on off camera flash using NIKON CLS (creative lighting system) ??

I have 2 - SB600 flashes we can use

I myself need more experience with this so need to learn learn learn and practice practice practice. We could essentially do our learning indoors or out and considering it is August - well, indoors might work better for me We could meet at my house if you want or some other central location.

If anyone is interested, whether it is one or a few - let's pick a date/time/place and get some learnin' done.

If I was in your neighborhood, I would join you. I have a similar setup and could use all the practice I can get. I joined Nikonians.org and taking a class in Henderson, Nevada in October. Two classes on the D300 and one on the CLS. Besides, it was a good excuse to drive to Nevada. I hope to get some shots along the way. I plan to visit the Hoover Dam during my trip.

Melinda ---- super fine with me to use your house ... ANYONE wanting to volunteer a location means I won't have to vacumn or clean up the house this year

let's give it a few days to see what kind of group we have that want to 'attend' and then go about setting a date and time that works for at least the majority.

any other nikon shooters interested ..... so far there are 4 ( me included ) ..... once we set a date, others are welcome to join in, but being the initial group you get to help DECIDE the date.......

If the attached 140k sized ".mht" file shows up with this email it demonstrates how to use the Nikon system using a It gives a step by step explanation. You will have to change the extension from jpg to mht and then open in a web browser because this site does not allow mht extension. If it doesnt show up send me an email addres and I will forward it to you.

It would be good if a few people bring extra tripods or light stands so we can set the lights at different heights/locations to get different effects.
