Workshop/Seminar Review Section Rules:

1. Workshop Feedback
Only completed workshops/seminars can be placed within this section for other attendees to review and give feedback. This feature will help members gauge and keep track of what others feel about a given workshop prior to deciding to attend one in the future.

2. Positive & Negative Comments Welcomed
Both positive and negative comments and feedback are welcomed in regards to any and all workshops that you attend. All we ask is that the comments remain on a professional level and done with courtesy. This review feature is built so that not only members can be informed about workshops but the organizers themselves can be made aware of what may need to be improved upon or tweaked to their format/teachings etc.

3. Anonymous Feedback Available
If you attended a workshop and have a positive or not so positive comment about it but do not want your identity displayed rest assured it can be posted for you anonymously. Simply PM me the comment/feedback as well as the workshop it pertains to and I will post it in the correct thread pertaining to that workshop completely anonymously. Only I will know your identity and I can guarantee that it will NOT be shared with anyone else on the forum.

Excellent workshop - top notch! I have been to many workshops and this has been the best so far. Learned lots and lots and got out the workshop exactly what I was hoping to.

Thanks Able for the reminder to review the workshop.

This was the second TriCoast workshop I’ve attended and both were incredibly informative. I got some excellent ideas about organizing not only my professional workflow, but my personal workflow as well. We were shown some great processing techniques and shortcuts, all step-by-step. TriCoast is also terrific about sharing marketing ideas and other ways to increase your business. There’s much more provided, but your will have to attend one yourself to find out all the goods!

If you get the opportunity to attend any one of the workshops offered by these guys don’t hesitate to sign up! Doing so will be one of the best investments you will ever make for your business, or if you just want to improve for your own personal enjoyment you will certainly grow as an artist!

I enjoyed this workshop as much as the Photoshop World convention. I learned so much more in the more this workshop than most of the others I've attended on workflow and PP. This was entertaining, engaging and well worth the few dollars I spent to attend. Add my vote to what Debbi and Rene said. Would I recommend a TriCoast workshop to anyone else? You bet your last dollar I would. I look forward to the next one I can attend.

This was a great workshop.

I was told I would learn work flow and photoshop, but never knew there would be some marketing and tips and tricks thrown in as well.

Instructors: Mike, Jordan and Cody, all excellent. Great examples and great presentation. They all have their own unique sense of humor which made the class not only educational but entertaining.

Material: The powerpoint presentation's were well laid out and easy to understand. Information was presented in a step by step approach.
Examples of photoshop work were very relevant and easy to follow.

Pace: The pace varied, as they went through real life examples, in many cases of actual photo's they had won awards from, from the original to how they processed it, to the final award winning photo! Sometimes it was fast, but with any questions asked they stopped and ensured the question was adequately answered prior to continuing.

I had very high expectations going into the class based on all I had heard, and my expectations were exceeded.

Any areas for improvement:? If anything there is so much information, and though I took a laptop and took notes, perhaps a scripted lab exercise in which we had to modify that award winning photo after seeing how they did it would further sink the info in. Perhaps have the instructors walk around quickly and say no try it this way for example. I struggled to recreate some of those things when i got home, but after trying and a little reading am getting on the bandwagon. As with anything practice makes perfect.

Would I recommend this to a friend: Absolutely, might even consider taking the same class again, I think the material would really sink in the second time since I have a basis to start with now.

Looking forward to their next class.....wireless flash, now if I can just get in it quick enough!
