Workshop/Seminar Review Section Rules:

1. Workshop Feedback
Only completed workshops/seminars can be placed within this section for other attendees to review and give feedback. This feature will help members gauge and keep track of what others feel about a given workshop prior to deciding to attend one in the future.

2. Positive & Negative Comments Welcomed
Both positive and negative comments and feedback are welcomed in regards to any and all workshops that you attend. All we ask is that the comments remain on a professional level and done with courtesy. This review feature is built so that not only members can be informed about workshops but the organizers themselves can be made aware of what may need to be improved upon or tweaked to their format/teachings etc.

3. Anonymous Feedback Available
If you attended a workshop and have a positive or not so positive comment about it but do not want your identity displayed rest assured it can be posted for you anonymously. Simply PM me the comment/feedback as well as the workshop it pertains to and I will post it in the correct thread pertaining to that workshop completely anonymously. Only I will know your identity and I can guarantee that it will NOT be shared with anyone else on the forum.

The Binder's Workshops are always great! If you have an idea you want to try, you can. They, the photographers and models, will help you get the picture your wanting. Even if you just watch everyone there, you'll learn something.

Three cheers for Marc and Robin Binder for setting these workshops up. This was my first one and I was a bit apprehensive at first. What I found, was a great bunch of guys and gals all willing to help each other, everyone was super friendly, it's the Texas way I guess. Lots of great ideas, I learned a lot. PLUS many of the models were willing to shoot afterwards around the Stand area.

Only item to note; is we should have mixed individual skills in the groups that formed. I did raise this with Mark on a forum thread and was assured it's not usually like that and other workshops have a little more structure.

My Conclusion. For the images/experience/education I received, $50 is a complete bargain. Not to mention the contacts/ friends you make along the way.

As soon as I got back home I signed up for the next one.

These workshops are exactly what you make of them. If you approach these as an opportunity to learn and grow your skills you will find the opportunity and the contacts that will enable that. If all you want is to add to your portfolio that opportunity is there. If you just want to have fun and shoot pictures you have that option as well. These workshops really fit multiple individuals desires and needs and it takes a great effort on the part of the hosts and sponsors to make these benefit multiple expectations and that says a lot for the Binders who put a lot of time into the planning to make these successful for everyone attending. That said I would say that these are well worth the time and cost for anyone regardless of what your needs are as you will find the opportunity to meet them if you utilize the resources provided. Everything you need is there, it is up to the photographer as to what they choose to walk away with. I have to say for me personally that these workshops have not only helped me to grow but they allowed me to grow in my own way and style and the people who attend these are the reason I am where I have come to today with my skills and contacts.

Looking forward to making more of these in the future, meeting and trading ideas with old friends and making new ones.
